NOLA School of Music is a small but growing school in the Mid City area of New Orleans. We are looking for teachers to teach private lessons in piano, guitar, voice, drums, bass guitar, violin, viola, cello, brass instruments, woodwinds, ukulele, banjo, and more.
Experience in your instrument is required, and a degree in music and teaching experience are a plus. We're also looking for musicians who can teach multiple instruments (on a beginner level) in addition to their primary instrument.
As a teacher, you’ll give private lessons out of our school and will have access to our library of books, resources, and music gear to help with your lessons. The school will handle scheduling, payments, and enforcing policies so you're able to focus all of your energy on your students!
Our teachers are contractors for NOLA School of Music and will be paid a flat rate per student per month. (Our policies ensure students commit for a month at a time, so you won't have last-minute cancellations or students quitting affecting your income.)
